He is the closest thing to a friend that El Meteque has, but he doesn't like how he thinks that he is better than everyone else in town even though Don Victor is actually better than him at everything else. This leads to them constantly running back and forth with words at every opportunity they get which always ends up with El Meteque always having to eat his pride.
